Blue Diamond Recruitment is working exclusively with a growing, high quality house builder who are seeking a process driven Land professional to join their growing team as a Land Buyer. The successful professional will ideally have 12 months’ experience in a Land role, with knowledge of the West or South Midlands patches.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Land Buyer to join an ambitious residential development business operating across the West and South Midlands. This role will suit a commercially minded land professional who is motivated by securing high quality residential development opportunities and contributing to the long term growth of the business.
You will play a key role in sourcing, assessing and acquiring land, working closely with internal planning, technical and commercial teams to bring forward deliverable sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure residential development opportunities in line with the business’s land strategy
- Undertake initial site appraisals, including planning, technical and commercial assessments
- Prepare and present land appraisals and acquisition proposals for internal approval
- Negotiate land acquisitions, including options, conditional contracts and promotion agreements
- Monitor local planning policy and market activity to identify emerging opportunities
- Work closely with planning, technical and commercial teams to progress sites through the acquisition process
- Support the ongoing management of the land pipeline to ensure future housing delivery targets are met
The role offers a competitive salary (c£30,000 – £40,000) plus package and bonus. This house builder have a strong regional presence and board of Directors.
