Senior Project Payroll Consultant
Hybrid – 4 month temporary assignment
My client, a prestigious organisation based in the City of London, is currently seeking a Senior Project Payroll Consultant for a 4‑month temporary assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the current payroll operating model end to end across process, governance, systems, service delivery, controls, and stakeholder accountabilities.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, risks, and pain points.
- Assess whether the current model is the optimum setup for the future.
- Evaluate realistic future‑state options.
- Recommend the most effective, efficient, and resilient payroll operating model for the future, that sits appropriate alongside our risk profile as an organisation.
- Provide a practical implementation roadmap for any recommendations made.
- Present findings to senior stakeholders in a clear and commercially sensible way.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in global payroll operating model review and redesign.
- Experience of outsourced payroll environments.
- Experience working across international organisations.
- Good judgement on governance, controls, service quality, and risk.
- Payroll transformation experience.
- HR systems knowledge.
- Provider selection or transition experience.
- Background in both strategy and delivery.
- Current‑state review.
- Options paper.
- Recommendation paper.
- Implementation roadmap.
- Executive presentation.
