Registered Children’s Home Manager – 4 Bed EBD Home, Castleford Area – Up to £55,000 plus Bonus
We are looking for an experienced Registered Children’s Manager to lead a therapeutic residential home in Greater Manchester. The role includes full leadership and management responsibilities, with support from a central team.
Role Overview
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring high standards of care and full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes legislation. You will lead and develop a staff team to deliver person-centred care, promote positive outcomes, and maintain a strong safeguarding culture across the service.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ residential childcare experience within the last 5 years
- Experience in a management role, having held a registration previously
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks
- Experience working with children with learning disabilities and complex behaviours
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (required for on-call duties)
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or Ofsted recognised equivalent)
- Level 5 Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
