Senior Manager, SAP Financial Accounting & Group Reporting Lead

Role Overview

Deloitte’s strategy is to be the market leader in SAP enabled Transformations. We are recruiting exceptional individuals to lead and deliver groundbreaking digital S/4HANA and SAP-enabled Finance Transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of functional consultants to design and build SAP finance solutions for S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Apply latest SAP functionality to enable clients’ transformation goals.
• Demonstrate understanding of business process design and SAP functionality.
• Implement standard SAP wherever possible, ensuring enhancements consider latest techniques.
• Build strong client stakeholder relationships.
• Lead practice development activities to support sales initiatives and internal capability development.
• Provide development and performance feedback to mentor team members and develop junior talent.
• Keep up to date with SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting innovations and roadmap.
• Work with the latest SAP technology including AI and automation.
• Access SAP and professional developmental training; attain and maintain SAP certification.

Required Experience & Skills

• Subject matter expertise in core SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting (General Ledger, Group Reporting, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable and Receivable).
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles (Month End Close, Financial Consolidation, Group Accounting, Intercompany).
• Experience designing SAP Enterprise Structure aligned with client organization and business structures.
• Lead fit-to-standard workshops and translate requirements into functional design.
• Execute and manage configuration of multiple SAP S/4HANA modules.
• Review and create design documentation, functional specifications and deliverables.
• Provide quality assurance of work delivered by team.
• Program delivery using agile and/or waterfall methodologies.
• Operate within project governance frameworks (planning, risk, issue, change management).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using SAP Best Practices.

Security Clearance

SC Clearance or ability to be security cleared is essential for clients in the public sector.

Desirable

• Qualified/Part-Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Security cleared or able to gain security clearance for public sector support.
• Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and other financial reporting standards.
