The Opportunity
A well-established and growing construction consultancy based in Glasgow is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join its dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their career across a diverse range of commercial projects.
The Role
You will support senior colleagues in delivering projects from inception through to completion, gaining exposure to all aspects of project management. The role offers involvement across a varied portfolio, including:
- Education sector projects
- Leisure developments
- Commercial office schemes
- Mixed-use developments
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the management of projects across the full lifecycle
- Supporting programme, cost, and risk management activities
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Preparing reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation
- Monitoring project progress and helping ensure delivery on time and within budget
About You
We welcome applications from candidates with a degree (or equivalent experience) in one of the following disciplines:
- Quantity Surveying
- Building Surveying
- Project Management
- Construction Management
You should ideally demonstrate:
- A strong interest in project management within the built environment
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach
- Desire to work towards a professional qualification (e.g. RICS, APM, CIOB)
