Powercargo Logistics is looking for a high-performing, commercially astute Senior Business Development Manager to help drive our business forward. This is a senior-level opportunity for someone who thrives on autonomy, has deep industry insight, and is eager to make a long-term impact.

This role suits a self-motivated big character; someone who knows the freight game, understands where the opportunities lie, and wants to own the customer relationship from first contact to long-term success.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Winning and managing new business across all Powercargo services

· Attracting constant new business reaping the benefits of uncapped commission

· Developing and maintaining a sales pipeline worth at least 3x your gross profit target

· Hitting activity KPIs consistent with freight industry standards

· Quoting and negotiating independently before securing deals

· Staying ahead of industry trends and customer needs

What You’ll Bring

· Minimum 2 years in a senior commercial role within freight forwarding or logistics

· Strong market and commercial awareness across the UK and global freight landscape

· Demonstrated success in building and converting a pipeline of new clients

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

· Self-starting attitude with the confidence to work remotely and independently

· A collaborative mindset that values the bigger picture

Essential Skills

· Experience in both Sea and Air freight forwarding

· Experience with CargoWise One

Role Details

· Location: Remote

· Salary: Negotiable and competitive (not time-limited)

· Contract: Permanent, Full Time

· Annual Leave: 25 days + English bank holidays
