This highly regarded designer and manufacturer of bespoke, handcrafted furniture and joinery deliver beautifully crafted, made-to-order furniture and joinery solutions, from initial consultation through to design, manufacture and installation. Their portfolio includes luxury kitchens, wardrobes, studies, bedroom furniture, tables, chairs, cabinetry and bespoke joinery for high-end interiors.
They are now seeking an experienced and detail-focused Furniture & Joinery Draftsperson to join their talented team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for fine craftsmanship and technical precision to work on prestigious bespoke projects within a collaborative and creative environment. They are open to the role being either part-time or full-time and tyou will need a cra to be able to get to their offices.
Key Responsibilities are to:
- Produce detailed technical drawings for bespoke joinery and furniture projects using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with the Workshop Manager and Project Manager to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements
- Prepare clear and precise drawing packages for client approval, production and installation
- Maintain consistency, accuracy and attention to detail across all project documentation and specifications
- Support the successful delivery of projects from concept through to manufacture
About You:
- Previous experience within high-end joinery, bespoke furniture manufacturing or technical drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to produce accurate manufacturing drawings
- SketchUp and able to create 3D renders would be helpful but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients
What’s on Offer:
- Salary of £33,000 – £37,000, depending on experience
