Axia-Search is working on behalf our a client based in Cyprus.

A long-term project with one of the top construction groups on the Island.

They are looking for Site Engineers to join their team on a variety of infrastructure, defence and facility management projects.

Salary: €40,000 – €55,000 gross per year + annual bonus, provident fund (pension), car and fuel expenses + many other benefits.

The Role:

The role is fully site-based and requires hands-on involvement to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. Successful candidates will be the technical point of contact on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise daily on-site construction activities for residential projects
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
  • Set out works and verify levels, dimensions, and alignments
  • Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, labour teams, and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with local building regulations, permits, and Cypriot health & safety requirements
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
  • Prepare and maintain site records, including daily reports and progress updates

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer, preferably on maintenance, infrastructure and defence projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and on-site practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
  • Good understanding of health & safety standards and site compliance
  • Professional or Fluency in spoken and written English is a must!
