Job Description:

A law enforcement organisation is seeking a number of Disclosure Officers to support a large-scale, high-profile national investigation.

This is a rare opportunity to work on a complex and high-volume investigation, playing a critical role in managing and reviewing significant volumes of evidential material to support the criminal justice process.

You will join a collaborative and experienced team operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, helping to ensure disclosure obligations are met to the highest standard.

This is an initial 12-month contract based in Sutton, Surrey with hybrid working available, the hourly rate for the role is £22.42 per hour via PAYE + holiday and benefits or via an Umbrella company the hourly rate is £29.11 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and manage large volumes of evidential material in line with disclosure requirements
  • Identify, assess, and schedule material in accordance with CPIA guidelines
  • Work closely with Senior Investigating Officers and investigation teams
  • Support the preparation of disclosure schedules and case files
  • Ensure compliance with criminal justice procedures and disclosure legislation
  • Contribute to the effective progression of a major national investigation

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in disclosure within complex criminal investigations
  • Strong knowledge of CPIA and Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) requirements
  • Demonstrable attention to detail and commitment to evidential integrity
  • Investigative mindset with analytical capability
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office applications

Desirable:

  • Experience of E-discovery & HOLMES

Working Arrangements

  • Full-time commitment required (36 hours, Monday to Friday)
  • Hybrid working available
  • Some flexibility may be available around working patterns on a case-by-case basis

  • All candidates must undergo vetting, including those previously vetted and ex-police personnel
