Account Director (Experiential & Retail Activation), Maidenhead / Hybrid – Up to £65K

We’re looking for an experienced Account Director to join a leading brand experience agency, delivering large-scale retail activation, shopper marketing, sampling and experiential campaigns for some of the world’s biggest consumer brands.
This is a hands-on role for someone who’s built their career delivering live campaigns. You’ll lead key client relationships, but you’ll also work closely with production, staffing, logistics and creative teams to ensure every campaign is executed brilliantly.
Working across FMCG, retail, food, health & beauty brands, you’ll play a key role in delivering memorable brand experiences that engage consumers where it matters most.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of retail activation, shopper marketing and experiential campaigns.
- Build trusted relationships with senior clients, becoming their go-to partner.
- Develop operational delivery plans covering production, staffing, logistics and campaign execution.
- Work closely with creative, production, talent and finance teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
- Oversee live activations and ensure campaigns are delivered to the highest possible standard.
- Manage campaign budgets, commercials and profitability.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and develop new business.
- Lead client presentations, proposals and campaign reviews.
- Mentor Campaign Managers and support their development.
- Deliver multiple fast-moving campaigns without compromising quality.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Strong agency experience delivering experiential, shopper marketing or retail activation campaigns.
- Hands-on experience managing live events, sampling campaigns, brand activations or in-store experiences.
- Experience working with FMCG, grocery, retail, food, health & beauty or consumer brands.
- A proven track record managing campaigns involving production, logistics, staffing and operational delivery.
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing campaign budgets.
- Outstanding organisation and project management skills.
- The confidence to lead both clients and internal teams in a fast-paced agency environment.
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to campaign locations when required.
