Domestic Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer – Bath
Salary: £43,000 – £48,000 basic Plus call-out & overtime
Standard hours of work: 42.5 hour week working 8am – 5pm
Overtime available and call-out essential
Working on Social Housing & Local Authority contracts conducting all breakdown jobs, diagnosing, fault finding, repairs, maintenance and servicing/LGSRs.
Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Domestic Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer to join their growing team in Bath; the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out day‑to‑day repairs
- Fault finding
- Completing annual servicing visits
- Meeting first‑time fix targets
- Maintaining high‑quality standards
- Focusing on customer satisfaction
- Attending jobs on time, notifying the contact centre/customer of any delays
The successful candidate will have:
- Valid ACS & other relevant gas qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 points)
- Experience within Social Housing desirable, but not essential
- Experience delivering high levels of customer service
- The ability to work with a diverse customer base
