About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be a critical engine for our expansion. This is a high-impact, fixed-term contract role where you will identify, reach out to, and onboard the next wave of high-potential UK sellers. You will later work with these sellers to grow their GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) on our platform, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

This role will focus on onboarding and incubating sellers across key eCommerce verticals such as Fashion, Collectibles, Books, and Home & Living.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively conduct outbound prospecting via multi-channel (email, phone, social) outbound campaigns to source and qualify high-potential seller-partners
  • Lead initial pitches to understand seller needs, translating the unique value of the platform into compelling, tailored propositions for them.
  • Assess seller fit to confirm potential partners, ensure strong platform fit, identify seller growth strategies, and establish clear pathways to GMV growth.
  • Support end-to-end seller onboarding, registration, account setup, and activation of new sellers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure continued support for onboarded sellers. Including merchant navigation through their growth on the platform.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets related to seller acquisition and seller GMV growth within a 3-6 month period.
  • Understand the platform, the competition, and our unique positioning in the industry.

Minimum requirements:

  • Proven B2B Sales Acumen: Of successful B2B sales development (SDR/BDR) or full-cycle sales experience.
  • eCommerce experience: previous direct experience within a high-growth eCommerce, online marketplace, or platform business is a strong advantage.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional command of English, both written and verbal, for external negotiations and presentations.
  • Self-Driven & Organised: Demonstrated strong time management, organisational skills, and the ability to operate autonomously in a remote-first setting.
  • Contract Commitment: Availability for a 6-12 month fixed-term contract, with opportunity for extension based on impact and results.

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Startup passion: Experience operating effectively within a hyper-scaling, fluid, or startup-like environment.

Work Location:

  • Fully remote (however it will require occasional in person meetiings – we value in person time for planning, problem solving and connecting, preferably living within commuting distance of London)

Contract Type:

  • 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential opportunity for extension based on business needs and performance.
