QA Engineer – £40,000 to £45,000 – Hybrid (2 days per week London) – Permanent

La Fosse has partnered with a data intelligence business to hire a QA Engineer, offering a unique opportunity for someone looking to grow their experience in a high-impact role. As the sole QA within the organisation, you’ll take ownership of testing activities and play a key role in establishing and scaling the test automation function from the ground up.
You’ll work closely with developers and stakeholders in an Agile environment, influencing testing strategy, introducing best practices, and embedding quality across the development lifecycle.
Key requirements:
- 2-3 years hands-on experience across automation and manual testing
- Experience working with Playwright
- Proven experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions)
- Solid understanding of UI, API, and integration testing, including when to apply each approach
- Clear and confident communicator
1st stage – 30 minutes screening call with Engineering Manager
2nd stage – 1 hour Interview including Technical Test
3rd stage – In person interview with CTO
