Having a great team spirt and people that are proud to work for a company that saves lives, our teams see the direct impact of their efforts in the daily operations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWorking cross functionally to assess current processes and identifying projects to improve productivity and product qualityAssess compliance and adherence to safety and quality standards working with relevant stakeholders to resolve any issuesLead C.I projects, ensuring to maintain a positive approach so all team members feel valued during the processSupport manufacturing teams with coaching and technical expertiseLead NPI activities related to the introduction of new products and processes into manufacturingPrepare & update process documentation and operating instructions (SOP’s)Develop TPM processesLead problem solving activitiesBuild positive relationships with team members, always promoting business objectivesLiaise with both PCBA suppliers and internal supply chain WRT PCBA testing equipment (including occasional supplier visits)Monitor tests failures, diagnose and drive countermeasuresUpdate test specs, test limits and test softwareWorking with Supply Chain, Technical & Quality Teams support the transition to new suppliers, the evaluation of sample boards & final sign-offMaintain and update testing equipment and fixturesProduce requirements for test equipment suppliersReport writingContinuous improvement of testing & production processesOverlay with the Quality departmentSupport periodic equipment calibration and checksSkills & ExperienceAll-round manufacturing engineering background with a strong electronics biasExperience managing changeAbility to lead structured problem-solving activitiesKnowledge and experience of working with PCBA’sExperience of writing and updating LabVIEW and Test-Stand software would be idealExperience with WATS or other test data analysis tools would be beneficialAble to interpret & analyze data and produce clear, concise reportsSome knowledge of CI tools (Lean, six sigma or similar)Experience facilitating groupsAn excellent communicator who can translate complex technical concepts to all levels and to non-technical audiencesExcellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact and influence at all levelsAble to manage multiple projects simultaneously and plan your time across a range of tasks effectively.Able to work under time constraints and to deadlinesExcellent attention to detail and data accuracyGood IT skillsSelf-motivatedTime focusedFFE Benefits include: 25 days Annual Leave, Company bonus Scheme, Halma Pension plan, BUPA health insurance, Simply Health cash plan, EA#LI-JS9 #FFEIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you’ll enjoy your career with us!Not the right fit?
