Position: Team Leader – EMC (Electro-magnetic Compatibility) and RE (Radiation Effects). Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload. Security clearances may apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage activities on time, on cost and on quality by applying key project management principles to ensure delivery success.
  • Coordinate and lead project activities performed by your team and support multiple programmes across requirements, design and proving phases.
  • Utilise extensive EMC test capabilities to qualify MBDA product developments against electromagnetic environment requirements.
  • Investigate and deploy novel digital proving techniques and methodologies as part of project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project teams directly and provide leadership to your team through effective communication and mentoring.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A high level of emotional intelligence with the ability to foster a positive, inclusive and supportive environment.
  • A clear passion for people management and development, investing in growth through feedback, training and mentorship.
  • Adaptability and a proactive, helpful attitude, maintaining professionalism even when changes occur at short notice.
  • Strong understanding of Electromagnetic Compatibility and/or Radiation Effects. Experience in a defence context is desirable.
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic engineering is highly desirable.

  • Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days on-site due to workload.
  • Company Bonus: Bonus of up to 21% of base salary.
