Graduate Design Engineer (Mechanical)

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (£40k OTE) plus funded qualifications, software and training, paid travel, and company bonus.

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

This growing company works on major projects in the nuclear and water industries for a range of clients, including water authorities and tier 1 contractors. The role is within the tight‑knit design team, providing expert training alongside experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Follow project briefs and design using advanced steel.
• Visit sites to scan using 3D point cloud surveys (travel and overnight accommodation covered).
• Liaise across the business and with clients.
• Participate in occasional site visits.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.

Qualifications

• Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer.
• Commutable to Stoke‑on‑Trent.
