Working closely with our Financial Services legal teams, we partner with clients to deliver both proactive compliance enhancements and responsive support during periods of regulatory scrutiny, including thematic reviews and supervisory engagement.

Our Financial Services consultancy supports leading banks, fintechs, asset managers, and insurance firms with specialist regulatory, compliance, and operational resourcing.

The Opportunity

We are supporting a well-established financial services firm in the appointment of an Interim MLRO during a key period of growth and increased regulatory focus, with a preference for candidates who bring experience within funds.

This role will play a critical part in overseeing and enhancing the firm’s financial crime framework, ensuring alignment with FCA expectations, and supporting ongoing business development initiatives.

You will work closely with senior leadership to:

  • Strengthen and oversee the firm’s AML / financial crime framework
  • Act as the primary point of contact for financial crime-related regulatory engagement
  • Embed robust financial crime risk, controls, and monitoring across the business
  • Provide strategic MLRO leadership in line with FCA requirements and industry best practice
