Successfully conducting assignments internationally, whilst being prepared to work away from home occasionally (approximately 10% of the time). Working with our public‑sector and not‑for‑profit clients both in the UK and overseas. Our work is diverse, so you need to be adaptable, proactive and a self‑starter. You could be seconded to a UK government department auditing major change programmes or auditing beneficiary data on a cash transfer programme for both economically challenged and strong nations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and participate in international audit assignments.
- Work with public‑sector and not‑for‑profit clients in the UK and overseas.
- Assist with auditing major change programmes and beneficiary data on cash transfer programmes.
Qualifications
- IIA/ACA qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CMIIA, etc.).
- Fluent in a second language, preferably French.
- Eligible to undergo UK Government security clearance.
- Robust post‑qualification experience.
- Level7 education, ideally a master’s degree.
- Experience of internal audit in the UN or central government / public sector.
- Experience of fraud / procurement / donor grants / financial systems.
- Experience working in/with the international not‑for‑profit sectors.
- Able to undertake overseas travel (around 2‑3 trips a year).
- Experience of institutional grant‑budget proposal development, compliance, monitoring and reporting.
