Street Cleansing Service Delivery Manager
Salary: £37,500 plus bonus scheme, use of company van, laptop and phone. Location: Croydon Municipal – Stubbs Mead Depot, Croydon CR0 3RL. Hours: 05:00-14:00 (Mon-Fri). Bank holiday working required and some weekend working will be required (paid at overtime rate).

What you’ll be doing
- Ensure all staff are aware of and strictly follow health and safety procedures and carry out regular field inspections
- Ensure all resources are safe, clean and operable; report and monitor issues/defects without delay and investigate accidents
- Update and complete events within the contract management information system (ECHO) to ensure all raised tasks/issues are dealt with timely per SLA
- liaise with the Contract Management team, administrators and other Veolia departments on service issues and take improvement action
- Assist in management and control of sickness and absence levels, taking improvement/remedial action
- Keep the fleet clean; investigate and report accidents/damage to Line Manager
- Make management aware where additional training is required and identify opportunities for operatives to progress within the company
- Support achievement of performance indicators identified in Veolia’s strategic plan
- Assist in budgets management relating to street service
Knowledge and skills
- People management and team leader skills and experience
- Basic understanding of IT systems
- Knowledge of Health and Safety
- Customer oriented/service delivery focused
- Driving licence
