About the Role
As a Social Lettings Officer you will enhance accessibility to private sector housing and prevent homelessness through early intervention. You will collaborate with stakeholders and develop strategies to improve housing options, ensuring safe and sustainable accommodation for all.
About You
- Good operational working knowledge of housing legislation in the public and private sectors.
- Ability to visit and assess properties for suitability.
- Experience working with individuals at risk of homelessness and understanding the complexity of their needs.
- Ability to inspect properties for hazards, safety standards and disrepair, making remedial recommendations.
- Commitment to delivering a high‑quality, customer‑focused service.
