Electrical Technician

We are looking for an Electrician for our client on a project based in Aldermaston, Reading.

12 months minimum

Essentials:

All applicants must hold an NVQ Level 3 as a minimum

Candidates must hold a minimum of SC Clearance and be willing to obtain DV Clearance

Must have 2 years nuclear experience within the last 5 years

Job Description:

• Installation of systems and equipment
• Operations, including testing and trials
• Maintenance and repair
• Support installation, modification, EMIT (examination, maintenance, inspection & test), and decommissioning tasks as required
• Work from schematics, diagrams, and drawings to install equipment
• Install systems and equipment in compliance with relevant regulatory and legislative requirements
• Complete and maintain all associated records and documentation as necessary

Hours:

9 day fortnight

Week 1 = 40 hours

Mon – Thursday 07:45 – 17:00 ( this includes 30 mins unpaid lunch) = 35 hrs

Friday 07:45 – 12:15 (no lunch break) = 5hrs

Week 2 = 35 hours

Mon – Thursday 07:45 – 17:00 ( this includes 30 mins unpaid lunch) = 35 hrs
