A well-established manufacturer of bespoke automotive testing equipment is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Halifax. Everything is done in-house – design, build, and development – on specialist machines including tear testers, pressure testers, pneumatic systems, and fabric-stretching equipment

leYou will own the sheet metal design of the machine – the enclosures and structures that encase the finished product – as well as contributing to new product development and redesigning existing assemblies to replace obsolete parts with modern equivalents, same performance, different component
