We’re recruiting for a Learning & Development Lead to join a leading FMCG manufacturer, taking ownership of learning, capability and skills development across a busy manufacturing site.
Working closely with HR and operational leaders, you’ll develop and deliver the site’s learning strategy, ensuring colleagues have the skills, knowledge and confidence to perform at their best while supporting business growth and compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and deliver the site’s Learning & Development strategy.
- Identify skills gaps and create engaging learning solutions.
- Lead and develop the site’s training team.
- Oversee onboarding, induction and ongoing development programmes.
- Manage competency frameworks, skills matrices and training records.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with operational leaders to build capability and develop future talent.
- Ensure all mandatory training and compliance requirements are met.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a Learning & Development, Training or Capability role.
- Experience leading or mentoring a training team.
- Strong coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience designing and delivering learning programmes.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- FMCG or manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
- A CIPD or Learning & Development qualification would be advantageous.
