Trainee Farm Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Farm Manager to join a well-established farming enterprise specialising in breeding, livestock management, and general farm operations. This role is ideal for someone with a farming or agricultural background who is looking to develop their skills and progress into a management position within a well-established agricultural business.

Working Hours

• 40 hour week
• Every other weekend
• Additional hours are required during busy periods

Key Responsibilities:

• Feeding and caring for livestock
• Milking cows
• Loading and unloading of livestock
• General farm maintenance
• Supporting reproductive management processes within the farming operation
• Supporting the Farm Manager in the day-to-day running of the enterprise
• Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and farm biosecurity

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous farming, agricultural, or livestock experience essential
• Practical, hands-on approach to work
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working with livestock in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Ambition to develop into a Farm Management role
