Job Description
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and guidance on health and safety practices to staff and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Management team to ensure safe working environments.
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation related to health and safety activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Health & Safety professional should have:
- A relevant qualification or certification in health and safety management.
- Must have a good knowledge of CDM regulations
- Must have a good knowledge of ISO 45001
- Experience working within the not-for-profit or Facilities Management sector.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.A proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing health and safety matters.
- come from a Construction or housing background of work
