Registered nurse for our Nursing Home-with 82 beds, situated in Woodchurch, CH49 and other one based in Birkenhead, CH64, in both homes the caring and committed team support older people to lead their best lives with personalised nursing dementia care.
Location: Birkenhead area, CH49, CH64
We are currently looking to recruit Registered Nurses with a passion for providing exceptional, kind, personilized care that promotes choice, dignity and respect.

Pay rate is £19- £20 per hour

ABOUT YOU:
- Active UK NMC PIN without restrictions
- Clear DBS And 2 satisfactory references
- Right to work in the UK
- An RGN or RMN, with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.
- You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.
- You will have excellent communication skills
- You will work well within the team, leading, supporting and training junior staff members,
- You will have previous experience in motivating the team.
Information about the Role:
Working as an RGN Nurse (Registered General Nurse)
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long term service users.
- Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times and in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
- Be competent and confident in managing people with long term health conditions.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users with complex needs.
- Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for service users (as appropriate).
- Priorities health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex,
- urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care.
- Recognize and work within your own competence level
- Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
- Support, manage and guide support workers on a daily basis.
- Continual personal development to develop oneself and the role.
- You will dispense and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records
- You will carry out stock control and ordering of resident’s prescribed medication and medical products
- You’ll need to understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health and Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the care Standards Act.
