ICT Data and Systems Officer (Workforce Management System)

The Role

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity that is going to revolutionise our operational availability? Our friendly and inclusive ICT team are searching for a new Data and Systems Officer to support our new Workforce Management System, due to launch later this year.

What You Will Be Working On

• Maintainingdata toahigh qualitystandard,ensuringaccurateconfigurationis managedin a timely mannerenablingaccurateaccess for Service users.
• Conducting audits of the systemso that the data meets with existing policy,proceduresand workflow requirements.
• Provideprofessional advice, systemexpertiseand reportsfor informationrequested by business areasandcollaborative partners.
• Enableself-servicereportingto support, evaluate and measure performance acrossfire standards, legislation,HMICFRSand Home Office.
• Work with the ICT Business Partner tosupport;production of technical documentation,project workstream deliveryand strengthen adoption of the systemby creating champions within each business area.
• Build a strong relationship with the software providertosupport the ICT TechnicalServices team with testing andmanaging technical issues through to resolution.
• RepresentECFRS with ICT Local Partners and nationwide Fire and Rescue Servicesto collaborate on best practice, sharingguidance,experienceand knowledge.
• RepresentECFRS at national level user groups and related meetings to gain and share best practice.
• Facilitate training and supporting resources for on-boarding new team members.
• Work alongsideand collaborate with other System and Data Officers to provide cross-system experience.

Experience inapplication managementand configuration,managing different stakeholders is beneficial.
