We’re redefining city centre hospitality with a polished, heartfelt, and unmistakably personal experience. As Assistant Night Manager, you’ll support the overnight leadership of the hotel, ensuring every guest experience remains seamless, secure and thoughtfully delivered while the city sleeps.
You’ll play a key role in overseeing night operations—supporting the front office, coordinating late arrivals and early departures, and ensuring the hotel runs smoothly through the quieter hours. From resolving guest queries with confidence to maintaining a calm, professional presence across the property, you’ll help shape a stay that feels effortless at any hour.
The Medlock, a Radisson Blu hotel, is opening at the heart of Manchester’s Etihad Campus. This brand‑new 401‑key hotel will integrate with the world‑class 60,000‑seater stadium and vibrant leisure spaces.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the Night Manager and lead the night teams, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly, safely and seamlessly through the overnight hours.
- Foster a calm, welcoming environment where guests feel supported and genuinely cared for, no matter the time of night.
- Champion the brand standards, guiding a confident service culture while bringing structure, reassurance and pride to a team delivering Medlock moments around the clock.
- Oversee the guest experience outside of peak hours—ensure late arrivals, early departures and overnight requests are handled with ease.
- Help carry the spirit and personality of Manchester through every interaction, delivering a service that feels considered and personal by night as it does by day.

About you

- You’re a strong communicator and collaborator, grounded, dependable and connected to the city’s identity.
- You bring previous hotel customer‑service experience, in a similar position, ideally within a premium, lifestyle or design‑led property.
