Based in Birmingham, with hybrid working, this role offers the opportunity to lead on major NEC contracts, complex procurement matters and strategic stakeholder engagement across a nationally significant project.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead on complex NEC construction and infrastructure contract matters across major projects
- Advise senior commercial and procurement stakeholders on contractual risk and strategy
- Support the negotiation of high‑value construction, funding and supply chain agreements
- Advise on contractual claims, disputes and risk allocation issues
- Manage external legal advisers and support key business decision making on strategically significant matters
Profile
- Solicitor or barrister with significant construction and commercial contracts experience
- Highly experienced advising on NEC contracts within infrastructure, transport or major projects environments
- Experienced supporting high‑value procurement and commercial negotiations
- Comfortable operating as a senior legal adviser to executive and operational stakeholders
- Experienced managing complex contractual risk, disputes and stakeholder relationships
Job Offer and Benefits
