Air Conditioning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer to join our clients growing team based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on a wide range of cooling systems across the South West.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning and chiller systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Commission and install air conditioning and chiller units where required.
• Respond to reactive breakdowns and emergency call‑outs.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

Essential

• Proven experience working on air conditioning and chiller systems.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• F‑Gas Category 1 certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Desirable

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Experience with major manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Carrier, Trane, York, or Climaveneta.
• IPAF and PASMA certifications.
• Experience working in commercial environments including offices, healthcare facilities, retail, and industrial sites.
