Ocean Export Operator (FCL & LCL)

Location: Staffordshire, West Midlands

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Bonus Scheme

We are seeking an experienced Ocean Export Operator to join our growing freight forwarding client. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end export shipments across both FCL and LCL movements, ensuring a high level of customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage FCL and LCL ocean export shipments from start to finish.
• Liaise with shippers, hauliers, and carriers.
• Prepare and process export documentation, including Bills of Lading and customs paperwork.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to clients.
• Ensure compliance with all export regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational and financial records.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in ocean freight exports (LCL & FCL).
• Strong knowledge of export documentation and shipping processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office.
