Role Description This is a self-employed role with daytime, evening and Saturday hours available. The Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist will provide in-person assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions in an on-site clinic setting in East Dulwich.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough initial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering hands-on therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation, and monitoring progress over time.
The role involves maintaining accurate and timely clinical notes, communicating clearly with clients about their conditions and treatment options, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.
The physiotherapist will also contribute to service development by staying up to date with current best practice, supporting a positive, professional clinic environment and building relationships with other healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Recognized degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with the relevant UK professional body (e.g., HCPC and CSP).
- Healthcode registered desirable
- Minimum 5 years MSK clinical experience
- Demonstrated clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Strong manual therapy and exercise prescription skills, with the ability to tailor rehabilitation programs to individual needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Effective time management, organization, and documentation skills, including maintaining clear and accurate clinical records.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and participation in supervision or CPD activities.
- Ability to work independently within a small team environment, showing initiative and professional accountability.
- Previous experience in a private practice or outpatient setting and familiarity with clinic management systems is beneficial.
