The Role
Our client is seeking a Finance Administrator to join their busy finance team on a full-time basis. This role is ideally suited to an experienced administrator who enjoys working with numbers, has excellent attention to detail, and is keen to develop their skills within a finance environment.
Working closely with the wider finance team, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and processed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Administration
Manage and monitor the finance inbox, responding to and forwarding queries appropriately
Match invoices to supporting documentation and purchase orders
Assist with processing financial paperwork and maintaining accurate records
Support the team with bank reconciliations and financial data entry
Maintain electronic and paper filing systems for finance documentation
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and information as required
Ensure all records are maintained accurately and confidentially
Input and update data across internal systems and spreadsheets
Support colleagues with general administrative tasks relating to finance processes
Liaise with internal departments regarding invoice and payment queries
Assist with audits and document retrieval when required
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met
Support continuous improvement of finance administration processes
Undertake any other reasonable administrative duties required to support the finance function
The Person
Essential Criteria
Previous experience in an administrative role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Good numerical skills and confidence working with data
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience working within a finance, accounts, or transactional processing environment
Experience with invoice processing, reconciliations, or financial systems
Experience working within the charity, public, or not-for-profit sector
Please note that finance experience is not essential. Candidates with strong administration experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Package & Benefits
Salary: £13.53 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Near Holywood, Northern Ireland
Working Pattern: Fully office-based, Monday to Friday
