We’re looking for a capable Project Officer to support the delivery of key programmes and projects, working closely with project leadership while taking ownership of defined work packages.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating activities, managing priorities, and contributing to high-quality project outcomes within a structured environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering work packages and activities in line with programme or project plans
- Supporting the Programme or Project Manager to achieve project objectives
- Independently managing smaller projects or defined packages of work
- Coordinating project tasks and managing interdependencies to ensure smooth delivery
- Identifying, capturing, and helping manage project risks and issues, supporting mitigation activities
- Producing project documentation, reports, and outputs to agreed quality and timescales
- Monitoring and managing project authorisations in line with your level of accountability
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting or delivering projects in a structured environment
- Ability to manage your own workload and run smaller projects or work packages independently
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Good understanding of risk and issue management within projects
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
