Senior Information Analyst

Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership

Senior Information Analyst – 1 x 12 month fixed‑term contract.

Waverley Court (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality data analysis and performance reporting to support decision‑making across the organisation.
• Interpret, analyse and translate data to inform robust, evidence‑based decision making and performance reporting within the EHSCP.
• Lead on the interpretation, analysis and translation of data, working with senior management to improve services and reflect the needs of colleagues, communities and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders and provide professional advice and support for team members, colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent with numerical and statistical experience.
• Proven background in interpreting, analysing and presenting complex data to enable evidence‑based decisions.
• Ability to analyse complex data sets, develop solutions, draw conclusions and present findings in accessible ways.
• Knowledge of robust statistical methods and performance reporting/measurement techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Eligible to choose employment with either NHS Lothian or City of Edinburgh Council.

Terms and Conditions

• Contract: Permanent (fixed‑term 12 months)
• Salary: £40,501 – £47,639 per year (City of Edinburgh Council) / £41,608 – £50,702 per year (NHS Lothian)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Salary increases annually until reaching the top of the range, contingent upon performance goals.
