CNC Programmer/Operator

Location: Rotherham, YorkshireHours of Work:Week 1 – Monday – Friday / 6:00am – 2:00pmWeek 2 – Monday – Friday / 2:00pm – 10:00pmWeek 3 – Monday – Friday / 10:00pm – 6:00am37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Independently program, set up, and operate CNC machinery to craft parts as per the specified standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and program CNC machine accordingly.
• Supervise machines during operation, making real-time adjustments for enhanced results.
• Maintain machinery cleanliness and functionality on a daily basis.
• Check the completed products for precision, ensuring alignment with MTL Advanced’s specifications.
• Promptly report and document any discrepancies in machine or tooling operations.
• Engage proactively with the engineering and production units to meet and exceed quality benchmarks.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a CNC Programmer/Operator (Minimum of 3 years preferred).
• Experience with Fanuc controls.
• Experience with precision measurement instruments.
• Ability to seamlessly interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent communicator.
• Innate problem-solving and troubleshooting capacities.
