- Covering Leeds to Scarborough
- Mon to Fri, 8 – 5PM (all travel paid within 8 – 5PM) some flexibility for start and finish times
- Some Saturday work required at 1.5 overtime rates
- 1 week in 18 call out at £150 retainer
- Van, phone, tools provided
Here at ISS as one of the UK’s leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit an Electrician to cover the Central to East Yorkshire on a single, major Government contract, completing electrical maintenance tasks.
With a company van you will cover your region, completing planned and reactive electrical maintenance on emergency lighting, distribution boards, power circuits, and some minor non electrical repairs
The sites are high street commercial buildings, small to medium sized buildings belonging to the UK Government client.
This is a fantastic role for a confident Electrical Engineer looking to deliver a mobile repairs service, taking ownership of your work and the sites you are involved in
Actions will include:
- Responsibility for electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.
- Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks.
- To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
- To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work.
- Ensure that all electrical equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria
We need from you:
- Electrical qualifications, some experience ideally in a similar role
- 2391 would be very useful
- Ability to go through background security check
