Vet Surgeon Vacancy – Surgical Bias – NOTTINGHAM (South) – to £70K

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a successful, growing small animal veterinary practice in city of NOTTINGHAM, South, East Midlands.

This is a full‑time permanent position with a rota of one Saturday morning out of four and no Sundays or OOH.

Role Highlights

• Industry leading practice with state‑of‑the‑art equipment including digital X‑ray, ultrasound, ECG, ultrasonic dental, biochemistry, microscope, and full surgical facilities.
• Wide range of surgical procedures and experience in emergency and critical care.
• Preferably surgical bias, with opportunity to support and mentor junior vets.
• Full personal development and certificate study sponsorship.
• Excellent location: close to main A roads, 10 minutes from the M1 and 5 minutes from Nottingham city centre.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
• Positive surgical bias and confidence in a wide range of procedures.
• Willingness to support and mentor junior veterinary staff.
