Sales Support & Account Executive

c£29-33k DOE

We’re working with a growing, entrepreneurial business building out its commercial team in Exeter. You’ll act as a key link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, sharing responsibility with the wider support team to ensure everything runs efficiently.

The Role

Includes:

  • Managing incoming enquiries and supporting customer accounts
  • Providing quotes, updates, and ongoing account support
  • Building strong relationships with both customers and suppliers
  • Placing orders, checking availability, and chasing deliveries with suppliers
  • Supporting the full order process from enquiry through to completion
  • Managing product and pricing data, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Liaising with purchasing, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Conducting market mapping and competitor research to identify new prospects and product opportunities
  • Preparing sales reports and performance updates for management

About You

This role suits someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

You’ll likely have experience in a sales support, account management, or commercial admin role, and be confident building relationships both internally and externally.

We’re particularly interested in people who:

  • Are confident picking up the phone and speaking with customers and suppliers
  • Take ownership while also working closely as part of a team
  • Are detail-oriented and comfortable working with data, systems, and reporting
  • Can manage multiple moving parts
