Production Manager

Position

Production Manager at a specialist manufacturer responsible for overseeing a team of 40 skilled operators who deliver high‑quality, bespoke products to stringent regulatory standards.

Pay Range

£35,000.00‑£40,000.00 (actual pay based on skills and experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan effective use of labour to meet production targets
• Chair or attend production meetings
• Manage all manufacturing queries efficiently
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards required by relevant codes
• Adopt cost‑conscious, first‑time methodology for quality and cost control
• Book labour and materials correctly on the ERP system
• Monitor weekly efficiency, monthly output and value added to the business, ensuring business budget requirements are achieved

Requirements

Experience working in a similar engineering environment with a strong technical background.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Reporting

The Production Manager reports directly to the Operations Director and is a key member of the management team.
