Customer Development Executive – McCurrach on behalf of Carlsberg Britvic

Location – Tunbridge Wells & Surrounding areas (Ideal postcode TN2)

Employment type – Permanent, Full time – 40 hours per week

Salary – £30,000 basic + 20% Bonus

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi‑beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn, as well as ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence, together with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK, including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes six production facilities and sixteen logistics depots servicing customers across the UK. As these two historical businesses have combined, the common goal remains: ensuring our people succeed.

In this role as Customer Development Executive, you will help grow Carlsberg Britvic market share within your defined territory. Working as part of a successful team, you will drive sales of our fantastic portfolio of beers, ciders and soft drinks by maximising brand availability and visibility in symbol and independent stores.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with our customers by building outstanding relationships in convenience stores, understanding retailer needs and local consumers, and executing solutions.
  • Adopt a full‑category selling approach to grow and develop every outlet you work with for the benefit of both the retail outlet and Carlsberg Britvic.
  • Create a winning territory business plan and take a business‑development approach to grow sales and market share.
  • Use data and evidence‑based retailer successes to drive best practice in your territory, region, and across the team.
  • Develop a growth mindset and adaptable approach that demonstrates an ability to offer alternative solutions to tackling challenges and winning over stores.

  • You may have previous experience in direct sales, convenience or FMCG.
  • You possess good administration, organisational and planning skills, are commercially astute, and have strong negotiation techniques.
  • You are self‑motivated and IT and social media‑literate.
  • You are strong, resilient, and have the personal energy and will to act at pace.
  • You participate proactively as part of a team.
  • You hold a full, valid manual driving licence, are eligible to work in the UK, and live within a 60‑minute commute of the role location.

What We Offer
