Overview
We’re reinventing payments. In less than four years, Dojo has become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. We are looking for a Product Manager to build a data ecosystem that is as easy to use as the app for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Wear two hats: Evangelist/Teacher – treat the platform as consumer‑grade product and ensure adoptability by engineers, PMs, and data scientists.
- Shipper/Engine room – manage trade‑offs between maintenance of existing pipelines and innovation in new self‑serve tools; say ‘no’ when needed to prioritize long‑term fixes.
- Define product strategy around data: “Data as a seamless enabler of speed & impact.”
- Create and own the “Golden Path” roadmap governing the lifecycle of datasets.
- Balance safety vs. speed – enable instant data access for many users while protecting PII and meeting regulations.
- Track ROI & attribution of data products: identify high‑value datasets and eliminate “zombie” data.
- Own technical execution: real‑time capabilities, semantic layer, platform scalability.
- Build internal enablement: own discovery experience on the data portal; create self‑serve tools that eliminate support tickets.
- Build community: run data clinics, write newsletters, promote data literacy.
- Explore AI strategy: harness LLMs and agentic AI to enhance data products and customer experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience across full stack.
- Fluent SQL and ability to query own data.
- Experience in fintech and understanding of data as ledger with audit trails and immutability.
- Empathy for diverse users, from backend engineers to marketing leads.
- Experience treating governance as product, automating compliance without slowing teams.
Success Metrics
- Adoption – percentage of internal teams actively using the platform.
- Velocity – end‑to‑end latency, change failure rate, recovery time.
- Trust – reduction in data‑quality support tickets and increase in user satisfaction.
- ROI – incremental value in revenue, cost savings, time saved, stability, risk reduction.
