Wren Academy Enfield is the second school of the Wren Academies Trust which is sponsored by the London Diocesan Board for Schools and Berkhamsted School. Opening in September 2020 with a first cohort of Year 7 students. Wren Academy Enfield is modelled on the successful Wren Academy Finchley but every effort has been made to ensure that a distinctive ethos and approach is created which matches the needs and aspirations of the students who join the school.
Weseek to appoint a Head of House who will take an active lead in the pastoralcare of our students. The successful candidate will each be expected to promotethe welfare of 120 students from one of the 6 Wren houses. They will beresponsible for ensuring that students in their house are happy and able tomake outstanding progress. This will be achieved through the leadership of ateam of 5 teachers responsible for a vertical tutor group consisting of Years7-10 students. The position is an excellent opportunity for ambitious teachersto take on an important middle leadership role which is essential in thedevelopment of outstanding pastoral provision which benefits the wellbeing ofall students. There will be an expectation to take a lead on building aneffective partnership with home whilst ensuring that behaviour for learning inand out of the academy is always excellent.
