Senior Data Analyst – Insurance / Claims

We’re working with a well-established organisation looking to bring in a Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in insurance claims analytics.

This is a great opportunity to step into a role where your work directly influences claims strategy, product performance and client insights — not just reporting for the sake of it.

The role

You’ll sit at the intersection of data, product and business strategy, delivering both internal insights and client-facing analytics. Expect a mix of deep-dive analysis and stakeholder-facing work.

• Build dashboards and reports to analyse claims trends, costs and outcomes
• Deliver insight into product usage and performance
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Work closely with product, engineering and client teams
• Develop robust SQL queries and data models
• Create high-quality visualisations using Power BI

What we’re looking for

• Background in insurance, ideally claims-focused
• Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working across multiple workstreams and priorities

Nice to have: Tableau, data governance exposure
