Senior Fire & Security Installation Engineer (M25 Area)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Fire and Security Installation Engineer due to a strong pipeline of newly secured projects. This is a great opportunity to join a well‑established fire and security business working across high‑end commercial and residential sites throughout London and the South East.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled engineer with a strong background across all four core disciplines:
- Fire alarms
- Intruder alarms
- CCTV systems
- Access control systems
The ideal candidate will be confident working independently on installations and comfortable delivering high quality work across a variety of systems and environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of fire and security systems across commercial and residential sites
- Working across intruder, CCTV, access control, door entry and fire alarm systems
- Fault finding, commissioning and system testing
- Ensuring all work meets current British Standards and compliance requirements
- Delivering high quality installations with minimal supervision
- Occasional participation in an on‑call rota
Required Experience & Skills
The successful candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience within fire and security installation and be familiar with:
- Intruder Alarms
- Texecom systems
- British Standards compliance
- Access Control
- Paxton
- PAC
- Door Entry / Video Entry
- BPT
- Fermax
- Comelit
- CCTV Systems
- Hikvision
- Analogue and IP systems
- DVR / NVR systems
- Networking basics
- Fire Alarms
- Analogue and IP networked systems
Additional Requirements
- IPAF certification required
- Must be based within or close to the M25 due to client locations
- Strong all‑round installation and commissioning ability across multiple systems
Package
- Salary: £45,000 – £47,500 depending on experience
- Overtime available
- On‑call rota with additional earning potential
- Long‑term pipeline of secured projects
