Responsibilities
- Deliver clear, concise, high‑quality engineering outputs, including calculations, reports, drawings, schedules and P&IDs
- Drive coordination across multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring seamless integration of mechanical systems
- Manage interfaces across civil, electrical, process and digital design functions
- Provide critical input across the design lifecycle, from feasibility through to construction
- Lead tender and bid reviews and evaluate subcontractor designs
- Offer technical expertise on‑site when required
- Mentor engineers, guide technical teams, and support capability growth
- Oversee budgets, programmes, risk, quality and delivery performance
Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar discipline)
- Experience in water, wastewater or a relevant engineering sector
- Strong technical understanding of clean water and wastewater system design
- Knowledge of relevant standards, CDM, procurement processes, and document control
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and digital skills
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with a drive for efficient, high‑quality engineering
Desirable
- Professional qualification (IEng / CEng MIMechE)
- Proven leadership or mentoring experience
- Commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and career growth
