Overview

An experienced Engineer is invited to join the Production Design Support Test Equipment Team. The role involves providing design support for test equipment, working closely with the manufacturing organisation, and improving the design of products and test tools in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide test equipment design support to the manufacturing team.
  • Act as an interface between support teams and collaborate with other support engineers on component selection and obsolescence support.
  • Assist in engineering change management and maintenance of design documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with REACH / RoHS and other relevant regulations.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Ideally degree qualified in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience providing engineering support for test products or systems.
  • Experience in component selection and awareness of REACH / RoHS.
  • Knowledge or experience of engineering change management and support.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an attention to detail.

Additional Information

Salary: Up to £43,000, depending on experience. Security clearance required: British citizenship or dual UK nationality with British citizenship. Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 days per week on‑site.
