Overview
Perform exploratory analysis with business and media performance data to inform future planning (e.g., audience selection) and day‑to‑day digital optimisations. Present findings to stakeholders and build data visualisations for audiences less familiar with data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Work closely and largely independently with Starcom Planning and Activation teams to answer questions with bespoke analysis and measurement strategies.
- Build interactive visualisations (dashboards) and use web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
- Develop a solid understanding of measurement solutions across Publicis Media and the wider industry to match challenges with the best possible solution.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with Planning Teams, becoming their first point of call for data interpretation and visualization questions.
- Actively develop as an analyst, keeping current with industry developments.
- Embody the Starcom idea of Brave Plays—step outside the scope of day‑to‑day work to challenge the status quo and uncover improvement opportunities.
- Continuously innovate and develop cross‑team solutions to build proposals and drive agency revenue growth.
- Support DDT Directors with the development of measurement plans in support of data‑driven learning agendas.
- Contribute to case study and award writing to demonstrate insights derived.
- Deliver operational excellence by ensuring timely completion of timesheets, mandatory training, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Passion for making a difference internally and for clients’ business.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent relationship building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Able to explain technical concepts to individuals with diverse levels of expertise.
- Independent in applying knowledge and capable of seeking guidance when needed.
- Self‑starter with curiosity to pursue opportunities beyond everyday work.
- Comfortable in a client‑facing role.
- Persistent in uncovering insights in data to drive growth and business.
- Experience or knowledge in:
- Analyzing, interpreting, and visualising data.
- Media performance reporting/optimisations (preferred).
- Data applications and propositions in the industry.
- Industry measurement tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or ad servers).
- Setting up data pipelines.
- Basic knowledge of the media tracking landscape.
