9am to 5.30pm Mon – Thurs & Friday 9am – 4.30pm
CAD Design Engineer required for an expanding and well-established company. The company offer training on their products and services.
Candidates need experience of 2D CAD sheet metal designs in construction, building services or noise control.
You will create general arrangement and detailed drawings for Noise Control projects, ensuring specifications are met. The successful candidate will work within a small team and with clients to develop designs to meet project requirements. You may be required to attend site visits when needed, a pool car/expenses will be available.

Produce 2D designs using AutoCAD and BricsCADReview and update drawings based upon client comments/design changesProduce manufacturing drawingsProduce installation drawingsProduce parts listsProduce fixings listAttend site visitsAssist with general office dutiesLiaise with factory to ensure smooth progress of manufacturingAttend site visits when required
The CAD Design Engineer Required Experience:
2D CAD experience in construction, Noise Control or Building/Mechanical ServicesExperience in designing products fabricated from sheet metal with a knowledge of light weight structural steel fabrications.Excellent attention to detail
