Project Manager
Oxford
£45,000 – £55,000 + package
I’m working with a well-regarded, independent construction consultancy in Oxford that’s looking to appoint a Project Manager to support its growing portfolio of work, particularly across the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
This is a great opportunity for someone coming from a consultancy background who enjoys being hands-on across the full project lifecycle and working closely with clients in technically complex environments. The business delivers a mix of new build and refurbishment schemes, often within live or highly regulated settings, so experience in similar sectors would be highly beneficial.
You’ll be joining a close-knit team with a strong regional reputation, where you’ll have real ownership over your projects and direct exposure to clients from an early stage.
The role will involve:
- Managing projects from inception through to completion
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams including consultants and contractors
- Administering and working with JCT forms of contract
- Monitoring programme, cost, and risk to ensure successful delivery
- Supporting across multiple schemes within the healthcare and life sciences space
What they’re looking for:
- Experience working within a construction consultancy environment
- Proven track record delivering projects in healthcare, life sciences, or similarly complex sectors
- Good working knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration
- Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build relationships
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of projects
This role would suit someone looking to step into a position with greater responsibility, where they can work closely with clients and play a key role in delivering meaningful, technically challenging projects.
